12-volt, plug-and-play. Built for the water.

Yak Power is what happens when a 40-year audio manufacturer goes fishing. It is a brand of Southern Audio Services — the Baton Rouge company behind Bazooka bass tubes, building marine-grade electronics since 1983 — born so kayak anglers could stop cutting and splicing wire and start running real 12-volt systems: switching panels, LED lighting, fish-finder power, and charging, all on sealed plug-and-play connectors that survive salt, rain, and the bottom of a kayak.

That is why we partnered with them: it is not an accessory brand, it is an electrical system — the same thinking this site is built on.

Yak Power — 12V that survives the water

We partner with Yak Power because powering a kayak or small boat is its own problem, and most people solve it with automotive parts that corrode in a season. Yak Power builds plug-and-play 12V systems for fishing kayaks and skiffs — switch panels, LED lighting, aerator and pump wiring, phone charging — designed around marine-grade connectors and sealed housings. If you have ever spliced a trolling-motor lead with a butt connector from a hardware store and watched it turn green, this is the alternative.
